What to carry to JEE Main exam centre 2026 is something every student must know before leaving home on exam day. NTA does not allow entry without specific mandatory documents. Missing even one item from the list means you will be denied entry at the gate. Go through this complete checklist tonight and keep everything ready before you sleep.

Can I carry mobile phone to JEE Main exam centre?
No. Mobile phones are strictly banned inside the exam hall. NTA is not responsible for the safety of any prohibited item you bring to the exam centre. There is no storage facility provided. If you bring a phone, you will need to leave it outside with no guarantee of safety. The safest option is to not bring it at all.
Is calculator allowed inside JEE Main exam hall?
No. Both physical calculators and virtual calculators on any device are banned inside the exam hall. The exam software provides a basic on-screen calculator for numerical calculations wherever required.
JEE Main 2026 PwD certificate is mandatory for candidates claiming relaxation under the PwD or PwBD category. The certificate must be issued by an authorised medical officer. Carry the original certificate along with a copy. JEE Main 2026 photo verification certificate is required only for candidates who received an email from NTA about photo verification. This happens when the photograph submitted during registration does not match the Aadhaar database. If you received this email, carry the printed photo verification certificate to the exam centre.
