Can I get DTU without JEE?

For admission to the flagship BTech program at Delhi Technological University (DTU), you cannot get in without JEE Main if you are applying as a regular first-year student from within India. The admission process for BTech is entirely based on your JEE Main score, and the counselling is conducted by JAC Delhi. You must have a valid JEE Main score and meet the minimum eligibility criteria, which includes scoring at least 60% aggregate in your Class 12 board exams (with PCM and English Core as subjects).

Exceptions:

• Lateral Entry: If you have completed a two-year Polytechnic diploma, you can apply for lateral entry into the second year of BTech at DTU. For this, you do not need a JEE Main score; instead, you must appear for a separate entrance exam conducted by the university.
• International Students: If you are an international student, NRI, PIO, or foreign national, you can apply through the DASA scheme, which may accept SAT or other standardized test scores instead of JEE Main. JEE Main is not mandatory in this case.

Other Courses:

• Non-BTech UG Programs: For courses like BBA, BA (Hons) in Economics, or BDes, admission is based on national/state/other entrance exams (such as CUET UG for BBA and BA, UCEED for BDes), not JEE Main.
• PG Programs: Admission to MTech, MBA, MSc, etc., is based on exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, or CUET PG, not JEE Main.
