Detailed Solution

The height of the jump by the same person on planet B will be 18m.
It is given that acceleration due to gravity on planet A is 9 times the acceleration due to gravity on planet B.
gA=9gB    — (1)
gA = Gravity acceleration of planet A
gB = Gravity acceleration of planet B
From the third equation of motion
V2= 2gh   — (2)
At planet A,
hA=V22gA   — (3)
At planet B,
hB=V22gB  — (4)
 Dividing equation (3) by (4)  then we have,
    hAhB=gBgA
 hAhB=gb9gb
 hAhB=19
 hB=9hA
 hB=9×2      ( since, hA = 2m)
hB= 18 m
