Detailed Solution

The official NEET 2025 cutoff will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) along with the NEET 2025 results on 14 June. Here are the primary places where you can find the official NEET 2025 cutoff once it's released:

NEET Official Website (NTA):

  • The primary source for the official NEET 2025 result and qualifying cutoffs will be the official NEET (UG) website managed by the NTA.
  • The website address is usually neet.nta.nic.in.
  • When the results are declared, you will typically find a link to download your scorecard. Your scorecard will include your marks, percentile, All India Rank (AIR), category rank (if applicable), and the NEET 2025 qualifying cutoff marks for each category.

National Testing Agency (NTA) Website:

  • The NTA also has a general website: www.nta.ac.in.
  • While neet.nta.nic.in is specific to NEET, important announcements and links might also be available on the main NTA website.

Important points to remember:

1. Qualifying Cutoff vs. Admission Cutoff: The NTA releases the qualifying cutoff, which is the minimum percentile/score required to be eligible for counseling. The "admission cutoff" (the actual scores/ranks needed to secure a seat in a particular college) is determined during the counseling process.

2. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC): For the All India Quota (AIQ) seats (15% of government seats, and 100% of seats in deemed/central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER), the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counseling. Their official website is mcc.nic.in.

  • While the NTA declares the qualifying cutoff, the MCC releases the college-wise and category-wise admission cutoffs (closing ranks) for the AIQ seats after each round of counseling. You'll find these on their website during the counseling period (expected to begin in July/August 2025).

3. State Counseling Authorities: For the remaining 85% of state quota seats in government medical colleges, each state's respective medical counseling authority will conduct its own counseling. You will need to check the official website of your specific state's medical education or counseling authority for their cutoffs.
