The EWS (Economically Weaker Section) quota is for candidates who belong to the General category but have a weaker financial background. The government has reserved 10% seats for EWS category students in NEET.

Basic Eligibility Criteria:
You must belong to the General (Unreserved) category.

You should not be covered under SC, ST, or OBC categories.

Family Income must be below ₹8 lakh per year.

This includes income from salary, business, agriculture, or any other source.
The income of the candidate, parents, and family will be counted.

Land and Property Limits:

You should not own:
More than 5 acres of agricultural land.
A residential flat of 1000 sq. ft. or more.
A residential plot of 100 sq. yards or more in notified municipalities.
A residential plot of 200 sq. yards or more in areas other than notified municipalities.
