  • Difficulty Level of the Exam: If the Re NEET 2026 question paper is difficult, the qualifying marks may go down. If the paper is easier, the cutoff may increase because more candidates may score higher marks.
  • Number of Candidates Appearing: The total number of candidates appearing in the exam plays a major role. When more candidates appear, competition becomes higher. This can affect the overall Re NEET cutoff 2026.
  • Category of the Candidate: The cutoff is different for General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories. Each category has its own qualifying percentile as per the rules.
  • Reservation Rules: Reservation policies also affect the category-wise cutoff marks. These rules are followed during both qualification and counselling.
  • Availability of Seats: Seat availability mainly affects the admission cutoff. If seats are limited and competition is high, admission marks may rise, especially in popular government medical colleges.
  • Overall Performance in the Exam: If a large number of candidates score high marks, the cutoff range may increase. If the overall performance is average or low, the qualifying marks may remain lower.
