NCERT Books for Class 10 Hindi – Free PDF Download (Updated for 2026-27)

Class 10 Hindi is offered through two course tracks: Kshitij and Kritika (Course A), or Sparsh and Sanchayan (Course B), depending on the school. Kshitij and Sparsh cover prose and poetry including work from poets such as Surdas, Tulsidas, and Suryakant Tripathi ‘Nirala’ while Kritika and Sanchayan are the supplementary readers. Chapter-wise reading, regular writing practice, and previous years’ board questions are the most effective way through this material.

NCERT Books for Class 10 Mathematics – Free PDF Download (Updated for 2026-27)

The Class 10 Maths textbook covers algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, and coordinate geometry, with worked examples provided before each exercise. It currently has 14 chapters; the earlier “Constructions” chapter was dropped as part of NCERT’s syllabus rationalization and no longer appears in the current edition.

NCERT Books for Class 10 Science – Free PDF Download (Updated for 2026-27)

Class 10 Science is a single textbook covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology fundamentals, built around concepts, experiments, activities, and solved examples. It currently has 13 chapters “Periodic Classification of Elements,” “Sources of Energy,” and “Sustainable Management of Natural Resources” were dropped in earlier rationalization rounds and don’t appear in the current edition.

For most students, yes CBSE draws board questions directly from NCERT, and a solid grip on every chapter covers the bulk of the paper. Reference books like RD Sharma or Lakhmir Singh add extra numerical practice past what NCERT’s own exercises offer. They supplement; they don’t replace.

NCERT Books for Class 10 vs Other Publishers

NCERT is the official prescribed textbook for CBSE Class 10 boards reference books have a role, but it’s a supporting one.
