The world of water is full of life. Rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans are home to thousands of creatures that we call water animals. Some are very small, like tiny plankton, and some are very big, like the blue whale. These animals are called aquatic animals because they live in water for most or all of their life.
In schools, children often get projects to write or learn about water animals name. Sometimes the task is small, like writing 10 water animals name, and sometimes it is bigger, like preparing a list of 50 water animals name in Hindi and English. Knowing the names in both languages helps in two ways. First, it increases general knowledge about nature and animals. Second, it improves language skills, because the learner can connect the English word with the Hindi meaning.
For example, if we know that “Fish” means “मछली (Machhli),” it becomes easy to remember. In the same way, words like “Whale – व्हेल,” “Dolphin – डॉल्फिन,” or “Crab – केकड़ा” make learning fun and simple.
There are many different types of water animals. Some, like fish, cannot live outside water at all. Others, like frogs and crocodiles, can live both on land and in water. Mammals such as dolphins and whales live in the sea but breathe through lungs like humans. Invertebrates such as jellyfish, octopus, and crabs have soft or hard bodies and very different shapes. Each of these creatures plays an important role in the water world.
When we make a list of 50 water animals name, we get a complete picture of how diverse life in water really is.
