Thank you Speech for Students by Teacher – 1

Respected Principal Sir, Fellow Teachers, and My Dear Students – Warm Greetings to all of you!

First of all, I would like to thank the teachers, especially the Principal Sir, for giving me this opportunity to deliver the speech today.

It is a very special day our school celebrates every year. Today is 5th September, and this day has special respect in my heart, as 20 years ago, I joined this school on 1st September, and four days later, the school celebrated Teachers’ Day, and I was invited to deliver the speech.

After 20 years, I stand again when the school is the same; teachers and staff are more or less the same; only students’ faces change yearly. While it gives us immense pleasure to share that the students depart from this school, leaving a great memory in our minds and heart, it also gives a pinch of pain for getting separated from them.

Well, I will not be emotional today as today is the day of celebrations. First, I would like to thank all the students and organizers for organizing such a lovely event. I am sure you all know the history of Teacher’s day and why it is celebrated on 5th September. On this day, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born in 1888; he was a great Philosopher and Scholar who later became a great Professor/Teacher. He also became the Vice President and later the President of independent India.

Though this day is celebrated as Teacher’s Day every year, this year, I would like to dedicate this entire day and the celebrations to our dear students. Through this platform, I would like to thank my students for giving me so much respect and consideration in how a child would care for his parents. I am very fortunate to have such special relations with my students. I would also admit that I get upset sometimes and become strict with you all, but that is only to stop you from getting deviated. The school is the foundation or the first step to the path of your success, so I want each one of you to achieve the greatest success in your life.

This year our students represented our school at the National Level for the first time, where they won three Gold medals and two Silver ones. This is a very proud moment for all of us, and I would like to especially thank those students who have spent their precious time practicing and studying.

On this day, I would like to appeal to each student that you must always engage in extracurricular activities. Studies must be your priority, but you should not stop enjoying your life. You must engage in at least one hobby, sports, Quiz, Art, Music, Drama, Painting, etc., and always pursue your interests as it will help you achieve more in life.

All the best to all of you!

    Thank You

Thank you Speech for Students by Teacher – 2

Respected Principal Sir, Fellow Teachers, all Staff Members, and My Dear Students – Warm Greetings to one and all!

First, I would like to welcome each participant on this day and thank you for participating in our celebration. Like every year, this year too, we are celebrating this event, which is special for everyone, especially all the schools. Today is the 5th of September, celebrated as ‘Teacher’s Day every year. 5th September is the birth anniversary of the great Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great scholar, and teacher. He was also a renowned philosopher and statesman, the first Vice President of the Independent Indian Republic, and the second President of the country between 1962 and 1967.

I want to thank all the students for organizing this event in such a grand manner. This day is very important in the history of our school as our school was established on this day, 30 years ago. Since then, we have taught several students who have passed out of our school and are established in highly respectable positions in renowned companies today. We had also encountered when some students who did not achieve the result per the expectations, but one thing had always remained constant, i.e., the student’s dedication to their studies and goal.

Through this platform today, I would also like to thank our students for showing interest in extracurricular activities like Dance, Sports, Music, and Art. At present, our students represent our school on the National Level, which is highly appreciable.

When I joined this school 10 years ago, I was very apprehensive about how the students would accept me. But I am glad to say that students of this school are very sensible, prudent and full of respect and admiration for their elders. We teachers sometimes become excessively strict and scold you when you don’t perform as expected.

I want to share that we have high expectations and hope from each of you. I also assume that you can understand why we become strict sometimes, and we expect you to behave appropriately all the time. Your parents and guardians trust our school and expect you to bring your name, fame, and accolades to them. They have chosen this school out of several schools and want you to excel in your respective field as Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan did.

I would also like to thank everyone for coming today and making this event a great success. Students of our school are very dear to us, and we have achieved a remarkable position in the state today because of their dedication to their studies and the outstanding results they have been achieving year after year.

This is a great platform for me to thank each student today, and I expect you to continue performing in the same manner for today, tomorrow, and forever.

All the very best for your life,

    Thank You!

Thank you Speech for Students by Teacher – 3

A very Good Morning to the Principal, Sir, Fellow Teachers, and My Dear Students – Warm Greetings to all of you!

We have assembled here to celebrate the most sacred day that keeps a special place in our hearts and minds, i.e., Teacher’s Day. Every year, on the 5th of September, we assemble on the ground and pay tribute to the legendary Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, born on this day.

Dr. Radhakrishnan was one of the greatest teachers of Independent India, the first Vice President and the second President of our nation. On Teacher’s day every year, schools across India pay tribute to and honor the teachers’ hard work in constructing their students’ futures.

Through this platform today, I would like to thank my students for giving me so much love, care, and respect. Also, I would take this opportunity on behalf of the entire school’s administration and the teacher’s association to thank each student for organizing the event in such a grand manner. I have also observed the students spend extra hours post-school preparing for the celebration and thanking them for their hard work.

For ages, teachers in India have been given high respect, and teacher’s day is an opportunity for the students and the teachers to thank each other. I am not saying we are the perfect creature on this earth, as we may also have some faults and weaknesses. Therefore, it is important for the teachers never to stop learning as there is always a scope to become better.

Different schools organize teacher’s day events in different manners. In some schools, students dress up as their favorite teachers and take sessions in the classes specially assigned to them, and the teachers imitate students and listen to their lectures silently. While this allows us to remember our school days, it is also an opportunity for the students to understand the challenges teachers face in that position. This day offers a healthy interaction session between the students and the teachers. I prefer interacting with each student in my class and asking them to share their constructive feedback with me.

We have always organized the Teacher’s Day event in a fun-filled manner, and all the credits go to the students of our school. Although thought school authority passes the list of events, the students do the entire preparation. This also showcases the talent of our students; they are extremely joyful and wonderful as they manage a smart strike between their studies and extracurricular activities.

Through this platform, I would also like to share that each one of you is expected to perform your best in your exams and bring your name and fame to your parents and your school; it is also important for you to pursue your interests in other fields such as Sports, Dance, Music, Art, etc. which will help you develop your overall personality.

All the best for your future,

    Thank You!

Thank you Speech for Students by Teacher – 4

Respected Principal Sir, Dear Colleagues, Fellow Teachers, and My Dear Students – Greetings to all!

Thank you for gathering here; today is a very special day for all of us as we have assembled here to celebrate the annual Teacher’s day at our school.

First, I would like to thank our honorable Principal, Sir, for allowing the students and teachers to celebrate this day enthusiastically.

It gives me immense pleasure to stand here today and thank all the students who have organized this event. Teachers have had a very special place in the heart and minds of students since times immemorial. In earlier days, teachers were called ‘Guru’ and were given respect equivalent to the god. Though time has changed, I am proud to see that the teachers are still being honored in the same manner as they were earlier.

Every school in India celebrates Teacher’s Day, and students find it a special day to thank their teachers for their support. The event has been celebrated on the 5th of September since 1962. The birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. All of us need to know about the legendary Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was a great Teacher, Philosopher, Scholar, and renowned Diplomat. He has even served India as the first Vice President and the second President of the nation. He was born on 5th September 1888, and to honor his great persona; his birthday is celebrated as the national Teacher’s Day across the country.

I am thankful to the students across the nation for recognizing his contribution to the Education System of India through this day. I strongly believe that the students are the pillars of our nation, and they must follow what Dr. Radhakrishnan said and believed.

I am also glad to see that our school’s students respect the teachers and listen to everything we say to them. We want our students to be par excellence and bring great name and fame to our school through their hard work. At the same time, we don’t want to pressure our students. They must maintain a balance between study and play, and this can only be possible if they participate in extracurricular activities such as Sports, Arts, Music, Drama, etc.

Our school is newly established, but we take all the efforts to bring it to a national level where students enjoy coming and learning.

It also gives me immense pleasure to announce that we are launching a ‘Dance Academy’ within our school’s premises for interested students. It is affiliated with one of the renowned dance schools and will teach all types of contemporary and traditional dance forms. Interested students can get all the relevant information from the administration and pursue their hobbies.

I will rest my speech now; please enjoy your day.

    Thank You!

Thank you Speech for Students by Teacher – 5

A very Good afternoon to all present here and lots of love to all the school’s students. As you all know, my name ________ and I teach for Standard ———–.

I am overwhelmed by all that love and respect students have shown today towards the other teachers and me. On behalf of all the school’s teachers, I take the opportunity to thank the students from this dais today.

As teachers, our whole life revolves around our students. We seldom have engagements other than conducting classes, giving homework, correcting notebooks, revising for the next day’s lecture, etc. This is what we do 24/7, every day for a whole year. No complaints, though, as we love to do it!

But today, we got a rather rejuvenating break from our everyday routine; thanks to all the lovely students for the love and compassion they have displayed towards us.

We thank you all for respecting, loving, and felicitating us on the occasion of Teachers Day, but also for being ideal and punctual students, as we have always wanted you to be.

As a student, each of you has been a wonderful gift to us. We thank you all for your punctuality, sincerity, honesty, discipline, and for giving us a motive in life.

Everyone needs to be motivated every day; some listen to their favorite song, some look at the poster of the politician, actor, or sportsman, they aspire to be one day. We, my lovely students, look at you! Your innocent, curious faces keep us going and motivate us every day. For this, we, the teachers, owe a big Thank You to our students.

Our relationship is a mutual give-and-take kind of relationship. We support you with our expertise and experience while you all support us by listening to us diligently and religiously following our instructions. For this, we owe you all a Thank You! Wait! There is more to come, as we will not lose the opportunity to thank our loving students.

Sometimes we scolded and punished you for some reason or the other, but that was only to abstain from getting misguided. But, as teachers, we all owe you great applause for obeying our instructions, even punishments. There hasn’t been a single moment in our memory when our students complained about getting punished. Your simplicity and honesty have won our hearts, and today we thank you all from the bottom of our very hearts.

The worth of a teacher is decided by how much their students confide in them. We thank you all, our lovely students, for showing confidence in us, and we can’t describe the feeling of being trusted and loved by innocent souls like you all.

But, this Thank You isn’t only for the academically bright and excellent students but also those who don’t perform well academically. When a student fails, s/he doesn’t fail alone, but the teacher also fails with them.

Failure of a student acts as a motivator for the teacher, who in turn makes it a life goal to improve the student. Today, I want to confess, on behalf of all the teachers, that the average and below-average performers among you are the ones we always talk to and discuss to make you improve. Infact, we are a little more concerned about you, but not to worry, as together we will get over all the obstacles and see the light of the day.

We thank you for your support and assure you that we together will take you all to new horizons where you will discover your full potential and talent. Everyone is blessed, and we, too, are blessed with you.

    Thanks a Lot!!
