NCERT English Class 7 Chapter 7 Roald Dahl's story The Invention of Vita-Wonk is a fascinating one. In truth, this narrative is based on his work "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator," which he wrote. This narrative begins with Mr. Willy Wonk, an inventor who produced Wonka Vita, a substance that makes people younger. However, everything has a bad side effect, and Wonka Vite is so powerful that it can even make individuals vanish by turning their age into a negative number. As a result of this creation, a person's age is reduced to minus 87, implying that he must wait another 87 years to resurrect.
After collecting all these he mixed them all and boiled them, which turned like a black liquid and he tested it on a 20-year-old person, then the person became a 75-year-old person, this means Mr. Wonka successfully invented a drink to make people grow old instantly.
The chapter made me imagine how amazing and crazy science can be when mixed with creativity. It also shows that curiosity and experiments can lead to surprising results. For me, this story was not just entertaining but also inspiring because it tells us to think differently and look beyond ordinary ideas.

Following this incident, Mr. Willy Wonk set out to produce a drink that would make people grow older in order to counterbalance the effects of Wonka Vita, so he took the great glass elevator throughout the world in quest of the world's oldest living individuals. He had a 168-year-old Russian farmer remove his toenail and gather sap from a 4,000-year-old Bristlecone pine tree. He then gathered a 200-year-old daughter's egg and a 51-year-old horse's narrative.
He took a 36-year-old cat's whiskers, as well as a flea from the cat, a 270-year-old rat's tail, Grimalkin's black teeth, and the knucklebones of a 700-year-old cat named Alou. Mr. Wonka collected all of these, combined them, and cooked them, yielding a dark liquid that he tested on a 20-year-old who then became a 75-year-old, showing that he had succeeded in producing a drink that could make people grow older.
