JEE Main 2025 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam dates for the JEE Main 2025 exam. Following previous patterns, it will be conducted in two phases: the first session will be from January 22 to 31, 2025, and the second session will be in April 2025.     The application process began on October 28 and will remain open until November 22, 2024. Students can register for the first session on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Results for the first session are expected by February 12, 2025.

    JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Exam dates announced

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2025 exam dates in an official notice. According to the schedule, the JEE Main 2025 will be conducted from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Candidates can download their admit cards three days before the exam by logging in with their registration number and date of birth. This year, the exam will be available in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

    JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Eligibility criteria

    To qualify for JEE Main 2025, students must have completed or be in their Class 12 exams, studying Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject, such as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a technical vocational subject. Typically, general category students need at least 75% in Class 12, while SC/ST candidates may need around 65% (these cut-offs can vary by institution).

    Candidates are allowed three consecutive attempts at JEE Main, with no age limit. JEE Main scores determine admission eligibility for engineering and architecture programs in NITs, IIITs, and other institutions, and also qualify students for the JEE Advanced 2025, which is required for IIT admissions.

    JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Detailed Exam pattern announced

    The NTA has issued a notice detailing the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern and timings for both shifts. For Paper 1 and Part I of Paper 2, Section A will feature Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), while Section B will require answers in numerical format. Both sections include negative marking for incorrect responses.

    JEE Mains 2025: Important Instructions

    Students attempting the JEE Main 2025 examination are advised to carry only the following into the examination venue.

    • Admit card and Self Declaration( Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website( a clear printout on A4 size paper) properly filled in.
    • A simple, transparent ballpoint pen.
    • Latest passport-size photograph to paste on the attendance sheet.
    • A hand sanitiser( 50 ml).
    • A transparent water bottle.
    • Sugar tablets fruits( like bananas/apples/oranges) if the student is diabetic.

    Candidates interested in applying for JEE Main 2025 should note the following information:

    • Availability: The application form will be available online.
    • Registration Period: Registration opens in the first week of November 2024 and closes in the second week of December 2024.
    • Submission Details: Ensure you upload a passport-sized photograph and signature in the specified format. Your application must be fully completed to be accepted.
    • Correction Window: A correction period will be available to fix any errors in the application.

    JEE Main 2025 Correction Facility

    The JEE Main Correction Facility will be available for candidates starting the second week of December 2024 for the January session. This facility allows you to correct details in your application online after the application period ends, but only for a limited time. You can also make corrections to uploaded images separately. Make sure to correct any details within the allotted time. Corrections can only be made online; no other methods will be accepted.

    What is the date of JEE Mains 2025?

    NTA initiated the online registration process for the JEE Main 2025 exam on October 28, 2024. In accordance with the official notification, the exam is scheduled to be held from January 22 to January 31, 2025.

    Will the JEE Main 2025 exam be available online or offline?

    The JEE Main 2025 will be conducted online as a computer-based test (CBT), except for the B.Arch drawing test, which will be conducted offline.
