JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Exam dates announced
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2025 exam dates in an official notice. According to the schedule, the JEE Main 2025 will be conducted from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Candidates can download their admit cards three days before the exam by logging in with their registration number and date of birth. This year, the exam will be available in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Eligibility criteria
To qualify for JEE Main 2025, students must have completed or be in their Class 12 exams, studying Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject, such as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a technical vocational subject. Typically, general category students need at least 75% in Class 12, while SC/ST candidates may need around 65% (these cut-offs can vary by institution).
Candidates are allowed three consecutive attempts at JEE Main, with no age limit. JEE Main scores determine admission eligibility for engineering and architecture programs in NITs, IIITs, and other institutions, and also qualify students for the JEE Advanced 2025, which is required for IIT admissions.
JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Detailed Exam pattern announced

JEE Mains 2025: Important Instructions
Students attempting the JEE Main 2025 examination are advised to carry only the following into the examination venue.
- Admit card and Self Declaration( Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website( a clear printout on A4 size paper) properly filled in.
- A simple, transparent ballpoint pen.
- Latest passport-size photograph to paste on the attendance sheet.
- A hand sanitiser( 50 ml).
- A transparent water bottle.
- Sugar tablets fruits( like bananas/apples/oranges) if the student is diabetic.
JEE Main 2025 Application Process
Candidates interested in applying for JEE Main 2025 should note the following information:

- Registration Period: Registration opens in the first week of November 2024 and closes in the second week of December 2024.

JEE Main 2025 Correction Facility
