NOIDA EXTENSION CENTER
Its foundation was laid on the 4th of December 2012 over a land of area 5 Acre. Apart from this U.P.State Government allowed the area in Sector-62 of Noida City. Presently, it takes less than an hour to cover the journey from New Delhi while taking up Indira Gandhi international airport to reach this GPS Spot. Approximately 25 crores were spent on the construction of this project. The new campus consists of an auditorium and a seminar hall for organizing national and international conferences.
It is amongst one of the International relation offices along with a 7 storey guest house. Several short courses in management and refresher courses intended for distance learning are available at the extension center.
NEW YORK OFFICE
- IIT Kanpur has set up an office in New York with the most trusted alumnus, Sanjiv Khosla designated as the overseas brand ambassador of the Institute. It is located at William street Manhattan 62.
- The office searches for qualified and capable faculty abroad in North American universities and conducts research tie-ups with various US universities.
- The office tries to amass funds through the alumni base there. IIT Kanpur is formulating a system for attracting students and faculty from foreign universities.
