We all know that the board exams will be held at different times across different states. The decision of NTA to conduct the JEE Main 2023 exam on the above-said dates is to ensure that the exam does not interfere with the Board examinations.

Let us look at other significant information on JEE 2023 exam.

The NTA decided to continue the previous pattern for the JEE Main 2023 exam. That said, the organizing body will conduct Paper 2A and Paper 2B (B. Arch and B. Planning) twice a year (January and April 2023).

The NTA decided to provide choices. However, this will apply to one section of each subject of Paper 1 and Part 1 of Paper 2A and 2B. This decision will be in accordance with the different boards across the country regarding reducing the syllabus. Regardless, the total number of questions to attempt (Physics – 25, Chemistry – 25, and Mathematics – 25) will remain the same, wherever applicable.
