Maharashtra Scholarships 2024 Online Application Process
The Maharashtra government also runs its online Maharashtra scholarship portal, namely, the MahaDBT scholarship 2019-2020 portal, by which the candidates can log in to MahaDBT login and apply for various scholarships. Step 1: Online Registration
The candidates are available for both UID-based registration and non-UID-based registration.
For UID Based Registration
- Go to the MahaDBT Scholarship website at @mahadbtmahait.gov.in/
- Click on “New Applicant Registration.”
- Click on “Yes” and enter your Aadhaar number to proceed.
- Authenticate student’s Aadhaar details either by using OTP (through linked mobile number) or by using Biometric (if the mobile number is not linked with Aadhaar)
- Once the Aadhaar details are authenticated, fill in all the required details on the registration form.
- Create candidate’s login details (username and password)
- Verify the candidate’s email ID and mobile number via OTP for successful registration.
- Save all details and proceed.
For Non-UID based registration
- Visit the MahaDBT gov in Scholarship Website.
- Click on “New Applicant Registration.”
- Click on “No” and register either by using the Aadhaar enrolment ID or by knowing the current status of the candidates’ Aadhaar numbers.
- Fill in all the required details.
- Verify the candidate’s email ID and mobile number through OTP for successful registration.
- Create candidate’s login details (username and password)
- Upload candidate’s photograph as specified and other supporting documents (identity proof, address proof, and birth proof.
- Click on “Register” to complete registration.
Step – 2: User Login Procedure
- Once successfully registered, students can log in to the MahaDBT scholarship portal by clicking on “Applicant login.”
- Enter the candidate’s registered username and password to log in.
- If students forget candidates’ passwords, they can click on the “Forget password” button to retrieve them.
Step – 3: Submission of Application Form
- Once students have successfully logged in, students will be directed to the user dashboard.
- Click on “Profile” to update the candidates’ profiles.
- If the candidate’s profile is 100% complete, students will get the list of suggested eligible scholarship schemes.
- Select the scholarship student wants to apply for.
- Click on the “Apply” button to proceed with the scholarship application.
- Provide all necessary information and upload supporting documents (if required).
- Finally, submit the application.
Step – 4: Checking Application Status
- After successful submission of the scholarship application, the candidates can check the status of their application by clicking on “Applied Schemes.”
- If the candidate’s application is under scrutiny, it will be visible under the “Under Scrutiny Applications head.”
- If the candidate’s application is approved, it will be visible under the “Approved Applications head.”
- If the candidate’s application is rejected, it will be visible under the “Rejected Applications head.”
