    CBSE Board Exams 2024

The CBSE Board exams for classes 10 and 12 began on February 15, 2024. Class 10 exams will take place till March 13 while the Class 12 exams will be held until April 2, 2024. The CBSE has released a notification asking schools to send their observations and issues if any on the question paper. This is what the official notification read, “You are aware that the board examinations for Class 10 and 12 have started. Every year, schools are requested to send their observations and issues if any to the CBSE on the question paper in OECMS.” As per this notification, the CBSE board wants to streamline the process of observations.

The board issued a notification after noticing that schools were sending observations to inappropriate email addresses not designated for this purpose. Additionally, it was observed that these observations were being sent several days later in a vague and unclear manner. Citing an example, the board highlighted that one observation mentioned a question was incorrect, but did not specify what exactly was incorrect about the question.

CBSE has directed affiliated school principals to enhance the examination process by implementing specific measures. These include documenting observations on OCEMS, providing necessary details to qpobservation@cbseshiksha.in to resolve any concerns, and submitting observations on the day of the test. Additionally, CBSE has stated that if feedback is ambiguous, delayed, or fails to adhere to CBSE guidelines, no action will be taken by the board.
