Introduction to Bulbul

The bulbul is a passerine bird of the family Pycnonotidae. It is a common resident of tropical Asia and parts of Africa. Bulbuls are small to medium-sized birds, some of which are known to hybridize. They are generally drab in color, often with uniform olive-brown or gray plumage. Some species have a yellow throat or breast, and a few have red eyes. They have short, stout bills and a wide gape, which they use to consume a variety of fruits and insects.
