Introducing the Musk Ox
The musk ox (Ovibos moschatus) is a large hoofed mammal of the family Bovidae that is native to the Arctic regions of North America and Eurasia. The musk ox is well adapted to living in cold environments, with its thick coat of hair, broad hooves, and stubby tail. The musk ox is also known for its intense body odor, which is produced by a thick layer of oily hair and skin that secretes a strong smelling substance known as musk.
