NEET 2024 Dress Code: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is an all-India medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET 2024 Dress Code for Male and Female Candidates
Candidates should dress comfortably and in a manner that ensures that their clothes do not obstruct their movement or hamper their performance. Candidates are also advised to avoid wearing jewellery or other items that could potentially cause a disturbance during the exam.

NEET 2024 Dress Code for Male Candidates
Male candidates must adhere to the following dress code announced by the NTA without fail:
- Male candidates cannot wear full-sleeve shirts or t-shirts in the exam hall. T-shirts and half-sleeve shirts are the only acceptable clothing for male candidates.
- Male candidates are prohibited from wearing clothing with zip pockets, big buttons, sequins, or embroidery. The candidate should be dressed in light and simple clothing.
- Kurta pyjamas are not permitted for male candidates.
- Male candidates cannot wear shoes during the exam. There will be no restrictions on footwear other than simple sandals and chappals with thin soles.
NEET 2024 Dress Code for Female Candidates
Female candidates must adhere to the following dress code announced by the NTA without fail:
- Female candidates cannot wear clothes with sequins, embroidery, patches, brooches, or big buttons.
- Female candidates are not permitted to wear full-sleeve clothes. Clothes with half sleeves are the only acceptable clothing for female candidates.
- It is prohibited to wear footwear with high heels and thick soles. They can wear flat sandals or slippers with very low heels.
- No jewellery will be allowed for female candidates, including earrings, nose pins, rings, necklaces, anklets, bracelets, or pendants.
- Female candidates are not allowed to wear leggings or palazzos.

Prohibited Items List for NEET Exam 2024
There are certain items that students are prohibited from carrying into the exam hall while appearing for NEET 2024. Below is a list of those items.
- Textual materials, geometry or pencil boxes, plastic pouches, calculators, pens, scales, pen drives, erasers, log tables, electronic pens, scanners, writing pads, bits of paper, etc.
- Any communication device, such as a mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphones, or a health band.
- Other items like wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, etc.
- Watches, bracelets, cameras, etc.
- Ornaments, metallic items, etc.
- Opened food items, packed water bottles, etc.
- Other items that can be used to hide communication devices, such as a microchip, camera, Bluetooth devices, etc., and used unfairly.

What is the dress code for NEET 2024 for girls?
Heels and shoes are prohibited. It is advised to wear low heel footwear or sandals. Jewellery such as earrings, nose rings, rings, bracelets, or pendants should not be worn. Half-sleeved clothes are permitted, but long-sleeved clothes are not allowed.
