Motilal Nehru prepared the constitution for India in 1928.

• The Nehru Committee worked from June to August 1928 and drafted the Constitution. 
• This was the first Indian attempt to draft a constitution.
• It was prepared by a committee of the All-Party Council headed by Motilal Nehru of which Jawaharlal Nehru was its secretary.
