Hence, Median, $M = \frac{46 + 48}{2} = 47$

$\begin{aligned} ∴ Median deviation = \frac{Σ |x_{i} - M|}{n} = \frac{Σ |x_{i} - 47|}{n} \\ = \frac{13 + 9 + 5 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 7 + 8 + 16 + 23}{10} = 8 .6 \end{aligned}$
