    Solution:

Concept- Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman who was an Indian physicist won the Nobel Prize in Physics in the year 1930 for his work on the ‘scattering of light and for the discovery of Raman Effect’. He was also the first Asian to receive a Nobel Prize in any branch of science. His groundbreaking discovery was that when light travels through a transparent medium, some of the deflected light does change wavelength and amplitude, this phenomenon was subsequently known as the Raman Effect.
Subrahmanyam Chandrasekhar who was an Indian-American astrophysicist was awarded the Nobel Prize for physics for his work on ‘theoretical studies of the physical processes of importance to the structure and evolution of the stars’. Most notable work of this great physicist was the astrophysical Chandrashekhar limit. He found that the maximum mass of a stable white dwarf star is 1.44 solar masses and this limit came to be known as the Chandrasekhar limit.
Therefore, we found the two Indian physicists who won the Nobel Prize in physics as C.V. Raman and S Chandrashekhar.
Hence, the correct option is 2.
