NIOS On-Demand Exam 2019: Candidates have the option for appearing under the NIOS on-demand examination system which ODES at secondary as well as senior secondary levels at the NIOS headquarters in Noida. The candidates are eligible for appearing in the on-demand exam after appearing for the first public exam. All the facilities provided by NIOS like change of subject, 9 chances to appear for examinations, etc will be provided to the candidates after stream 2. Also, the candidate is free to appear any number of times through the on-demand exam system until the validity of the admission.
NIOS On-Demand Exam 2019
For an on-demand examination, the candidate has to arrange for amanuensis or writer. Also, only one-hour extra time is allocated for the exam and no other facilities will be available for the NIOS ODE exam. In the case where the learner is already a registered candidate of NIOS at either of the secondary and senior secondary levels, he or she has the option of appearing for the examination through NIOS on-demand exam system. The candidate appears for the exam through ODES as per his or her wish and preparation. Also, it depends on the availability of seats at the exam center at that time.

NIOS On-Demand Exam 2019 Details
Online Admission for learners who want to appear under the On-Demand Examination System (ODES) of NIOS for Secondary level (Stream – 3)
This stream is available throughout the year for online admission for the candidates that have already passed the secondary board from a recognized board and wishes to take part in admission in one or more than one subject for updating their qualifications. Also, candidates who had previously appeared for the exam but could not clear it or were eligible but are not able to appear for the public exam at the secondary level from any recognized board but wants to appear through on-demand exam system for the secondary level only and entry requirement of address proof, age is required.

This stream is available throughout the year for online admission for the candidates that have already passed the senior secondary board from a recognized board and wishes to take part in admission in one or more than one subject for updating their qualifications. Subjects which are available for appearing through on-demand exam system at the secondary level are: Social Science (213), Economics (214), Hindi (201), English (202), Science & Technology (212), Business Studies (215), Home Science (216), Sanskrit (209), Mathematics (211), Psychology (222), Painting (225), Data Entry Operations (229), Indian Culture and Heritage (223)
Senior Secondary Level
Subjects which are available for appearing through on-demand exam system at the senior secondary level are: Sanskrit (309), Mathematics (311), Physics (312), Hindi (301), English (302), Economics (318), Business Studies (319), Chemistry (313), History (315),Geography (316), Biology (314), Political Science (317), Psychology (328), Sociology (331), Environmental Science (333), Mass Communication (335), Accountancy (320),Home Science (321), Painting (332), Data Entry Operations (336), and Introduction to Law (338).
- In order to prevail in the facility of the on-demand exam system, the candidate has to register him or her as one of the bonafide learners of NIOS and have a valid identity card along with the enrollment number.
- The ODES registration is available for all the existing learners through online mode only. In order to know the ODE registration procedure, candidates should visit the official NIOS website which www.nios.ac.in.
- The candidates of stream 1 blocks 1 and 2 can seek online ODE registration only after April/May and October/November exams are done.
- For appearing in ODE, the learner should bring a copy of the origin identity card which is issued by NIOS along with any other identity proofs like voter ID card, driving license, Aadhar card, passport, etc.
The candidate which is registering under the stream 3 and 4 should be allowed to appear in the exams only through on-demand exam mode. The candidate will not be allowed to sit in the exam through the public exam conducted by the NIOS during April/May and October/November. Candidates of the Delhi/NCR region can appear for any of the NIOS ODE centers. The on-demand exam fees can be paid through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
