    Giuseppe Mazzini was described as “the most dangerous enemy of our social order” by Metternich. Mazzini was an Italian revolutionary. He was an ardent opponent of the monarchy. He had a vision of a democratic republic. Hence his views and ideas frightened the conservatives such as Metternich. He founded the secret revolutionary society called Young Italy in 1832.
