The Arrow represents the direction of a chemical reaction. If there is any specific condition required for the reaction like temperature or sunlight it is mentioned above the arrow.

What are the different components of a chemical equation?
The two major components of a chemical reaction are Reactants and Products.
What are Reactants?
The substances that take part in a chemical reaction are called reactants.
What are Products?
The new substances that are formed after the chemical reaction are called products.
