    JEE Advanced Rank List 2025 – Tie-breaking rule

    If two or more than two candidates have scored equal marks in JEE Advanced 2025 then the following rule for tie-breaking will be used in making the rank list.

    1. Candidates who have a higher positive marks will be ranked higher.
    2. On persisting tie, the candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher preference.
    3. If the tie is not yet busted, the candidates with a higher score in Physics shall be given a higher rank.
    4. Lastly, if the tie still exists, then the candidates shall be assigned the same ranks.
