    Lemonade is prepared by mixing lemon juice and sugar in water. Ice should be added to lemonade after dissolving the sugar.              It is because solubility depends on the temperature. As the temperature decreases, solubility also decreases. On addition of ice, the temperature of the lemonade decreases and dissolving the sugar in cold water becomes difficult. Therefore, ice should be added to lemonade after dissolving the sugar. So when ice is added to the lemonade without adding sugar, the sugar can not dissolve later due to low solubility.
