    What is a Balanced diet?

A balanced diet is defined as the diet containing all the required nutrients by the body in an appropriate proportion.

    What is Malnutrition?

Malnutrition is a condition that results from eating a diet in which nutrients are either not enough or are in excess.

    What is Undernutrition?

A state where the body does not get all the required nutrients is called an under- nourished state and the condition is called Undernutrition.

Extreme undernourishment may have developmental issues. These can have symptoms like short height, thin body, very poor energy levels, and swollen legs and abdomen.

    What is Overnutrition?

A state where the body gets an excessive amount of nutrients is called Overnutrition.

Overnutrition leads to obesity, which is a medical condition in which excess body

fat accumulates in the body. This in turn causes many severe diseases and disorders like diabetes, heart diseases, high blood pressure, arthritis, insomnia and in some cases even a stroke.
