What is the Meaning of Synapse?
Synapse – Meaning: Synapse refers to a structure that is responsible for transmitting signals between neurons. It is a small gap between two neurons that is filled with a substance called neurotransmitter. When a signal is transmitted, the neurotransmitter crosses the gap and binds to receptors on the receiving neuron, causing it to fire.
