Why did the classification systems change?

Question: Why are the classification systems changing now and then?

Answer:

The classification systems of organisms change according to the needs as they arise. On earth, millions of plants, animals, and microorganisms are found. Many of these have been identified by scientists, while many new species are still being discovered around the world. Over time, scientists have attempted to develop a classification system based on evolutionary relationships and morphological,  physiological,  and reproductive similarities. The classification system is changing because the criteria for classification have changed. Depending on improvements in our understanding of characteristics and evolutionary relationships, similar changes will occur in the future too.
