JEE Main 2024 Number of Attempts

Until recently, the number of attempts for JEE Main was limited to three consecutive years. However, in a major decision taken by the Ministry of Education, the government of India has removed the cap on the number of attempts for JEE Main. Starting from 2021, candidates can appear for JEE Main for a maximum number of times without any restrictions on the consecutive years.

This change brings great relief to engineering aspirants, as it provides them with more flexibility to improve their scores and secure admission into their desired engineering institutes. The decision acknowledges that every student has their unique learning curve and allows them to appear for the exam whenever they feel fully prepared.
