In the previous segment, we learnt about the different types of angles. We will now learn the ways of naming angles.
How to name an angle?
There are three ways in which an angle can be named. They are as follows:
(i) Name of the vertex
Acute angle of 60o
Here, the rays BA and BC form a 60∘angle at the vertex ‘B’. Hence, we name this angle
as ∠B.

But when more than 2 rays converge at the same point, they form more than 1 angle. Hence, naming each angle using the vertex may lead to confusion.
