What are Numbers?
Numbers are symbols that represent quantities.
Types of Numbers
There are three types of numbers: natural numbers, whole numbers, and integers.
Natural numbers are the counting numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and so on.
Whole numbers are the counting numbers and the negative numbers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, -1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8, -9, and -10.
Integers are the whole numbers and the negative numbers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, -1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8, -9, and -10.
What is the Indian Numeral System?
The Indian Numeral System is the numeral system used in India. It is similar to the Arabic Numeral System, except that it uses different symbols to represent the different values.
International Numeral System
There are ten numerals in the International Numeral System:
