What is a Circle?
A circle is a geometric shape that has the same curvature all along its edge. It is the set of all points in a plane that are equidistant from a given point, the center.
Regions of Circle
There are a few regions of a circle. The first is the center, which is the point in the center of the circle. The second is the radius, which is the distance from the center to the edge of the circle. The third is the circumference, which is the distance around the edge of the circle. The fourth is the area, which is the size of the inside of the circle.
Parts of a Circle
A circle is a simple shape that is created by a set of points that are all the same distance away from a central point. The points are connected by straight lines, and the shape is created when these lines are all drawn together. The line that connects the center of the circle to the edge is called the radius. The distance from the center to any other point on the circle is called the circumference.
