CBSE Class 10 Home Science Question Paper Pattern 2024
CBSE Class 10 Home Science Question Paper 2024 consisted a total of 35 questions, carrying 70 marks. The remaining 30 marks were allocated based on practical exams conducted in January and February.
The question paper was divided into three sections: A, B, and C.
- Section A included multiple-choice questions numbered 1 to 18, each worth 1 mark.
- Section B comprised two types of questions:
- Very short answer questions numbered 19 to 25, each carrying 2 marks.
- Short answer questions numbered 26 to 29, each worth 3 marks.
- Section C contained the following mixed questions:
- Long answer questions (I) numbered 30 to 33, each for 4 marks.

Difficulty Level of CBSE Class 10 Home Science Question Paper 2024

A student from a DAV Public School in Delhi NCR region mentioned that the paper was easy as the questions were straightforward and aligned with the syllabus. There were no surprises in the paper. However, some questions in section C required more time but were still manageable. Another student expressed confidence in scoring around 80% marks in the paper. Overall, students found the paper balanced and conducive to scoring well.
