The JEE Advanced exam lasts for 6 hours. Candidates should wear simple and comfortable attire, with lightweight and breathable fabrics.
- Opt for open footwear like sandals or chappals.
- Choose shirts and pants with fewer pockets.
- Girls should avoid carrying dupattas and instead wear simple kurtis, plazos, jeans, or leggings.
- Select clothing with short sleeves for comfort.
JEE Advanced 2024 : Items to Carry in Exam Centre
Candidates are required to bring the following items to the exam center:
- JEE Advanced 2024 admit card
- Original photo identity card (any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License, Notarized Certificate with photograph)
- Pens
- Pencils
- A simple analog watch (optional)
- Drinking water in a transparent bottle
- Mask and hand sanitizer (up to 50 ml in a transparent bottle) are mandatory.

Is there any dress code for JEE advance?
There is no special dress code for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam. Nonetheless, candidates are advised not to wear caps, metallic items, scarves/stoles, jewelry, or other ornaments during the exam.
Can I wear any jewelry piece on the exam day?
