    2. Cut the aluminium tubing into six pieces of different lengths between 15 inches to 20 inches. Mark all of them at equal distances from the end of each pipe.
    3. Put all the pieces together. Attach the strings with the wooden pieces.
    4. Drill the holes. Make sure that they are level. Thread each piece through the hole in a tube and tie a knot to secure it in place. Leave enough extra string at the top to hang the tubes from the base.
    5. Attach the strings to the base by tying them securely to the hoop or ring. Make sure the tubes are evenly spaced apart.
    6. Add beads, shells, or small bells onto the strings between the tubes for added decoration and sound variation.
    7. Find a suitable location to hang your wind chime where it will catch the breeze. You can hang it from a porch or a tree branch.
    8. Once your wind chime is hung, gently tap it to make sure it produces a pleasant sound. Adjust the strings’ lengths or the tubes’ positioning if needed to achieve the desired sound.
