A few points on Chapter 14 Mathematical Reasoning

      • A statement that is either true or untrue is mathematically acceptable.
      • If any statement is denoted by ‘p’ then the negation of p is denoted by ∼p.
      • A compound statement is a statement that is made up of two or more smaller statements. Such that the smaller statements are the component statements of the compound statement.
      • In the compound statement, the words “And”, “Or”, “There exists”, and “For every” are present.
