What is a Blend?
A blend is a type of marketable security that is composed of two or more different types of securities. Blends can be created by combining different types of stocks, bonds, or other securities.
Mixtures are two or more substances combined together to form one substance.
A mixture is a physical combination of two or more substances in which each substance retains its own chemical identity. The substances may be combined in any proportion, and the mixture will have the same chemical properties as the individual substances. A mixture can be separated into its component substances by physical means such as filtering, distillation, or chromatography.
Sorts of Mixtures

There are three types of mixtures:
1. Homogeneous mixtures are composed of substances that are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. For example, a glass of water is a homogeneous mixture because the water and the air are evenly distributed.
2. Heterogeneous mixtures are composed of substances that are not evenly distributed. For example, a glass of mud is a heterogeneous mixture because the mud is not evenly distributed.
3. Solutions are homogeneous mixtures of two or more substances that are dissolved in each other. For example, sugar dissolved in water is a solution.
A heterogeneous mixture is a mixture of two or more substances that are not evenly mixed. This type of mixture can be seen in everyday life, such as when you pour a glass of water with ice cubes. The water and ice are two different substances, and they are not evenly mixed. Another example of a heterogeneous mixture is when you mix sand and water. The sand and water are not evenly mixed, and you can see the different layers.
Examples of Heterogeneous Mixtures
Homogeneous mixtures have uniform chemical and physical properties throughout the mixture. Heterogeneous mixtures, on the other hand, have different properties in different parts of the mixture. Some common examples of heterogeneous mixtures include:
-Liquids and solids

-Gas and gas
-Solid, liquid, and gas
-Solutions and suspensions
A mixture is said to be homogeneous if it has a uniform composition and appearance throughout. A heterogeneous mixture, on the other hand, has a nonuniform composition and appearance.
A homogeneous mixture of two substances will have the same composition and appearance regardless of the size or location of the sample. A heterogeneous mixture, on the other hand, will have a different composition and appearance depending on the size or location of the sample.
One way to think about it is that a homogeneous mixture is like a smoothie, where you can’t see the individual ingredients. A heterogeneous mixture, on the other hand, is like a salad, where you can see the individual ingredients.
Examples of homogeneous mixtures include salt water, air, and ethanol.
Salt water is a mixture of salt and water. Air is a mixture of nitrogen, oxygen, and other gases. Ethanol is a mixture of ethanol and water.
