A
Concentration of power in a few hands.
B
Democracy is like a horse-cart.
C
Putin and Bush are good Friends.
D
None of the above
Solution:
The picture above signifies the concept of concentration of power in a few hands. Usually, in a democratic country, the elected representatives of the countries hold great power in their hands and try to concentrate these powers. We try to understand democracy by reading its theories, while we overlook how it is applied in today's world. Democracy, theoretically, means the government of the people, by the people, and for the people. In contrast, in reality, the governing elite of democratic countries tends to speak on behalf of the country's people by exercising excessive control and centralising the powers.
