Solution:
The government get funds for providing public facilities from taxation. The responsibility of the government is to provide public facilities which benefit all. Public facilities like electricity, water, and sanitation are needed by every household and the government needs enough funds to allocate these facilities to everyone in the country. Government announces various schemes and policies to implement all these public needs. To meet this expense, the government needs to collect taxes viz service tax, Income tax, sales tax, etc. Money collected from taxation is used by the government. Every year a budget is presented in the parliament of India by the ministry of finance to allot funds to various ministries so they can spend their money and compete for their targets.
