    Given, a cube of side 5 cm  painted on all its faces and it is sliced into 1 cubic centimeter cubes.
    Draw a cube with side 5 cm and it is sliced into 1 cubic centimeter cubes.Number of cubes from one face = 9.
    Total number of faces = 6.
    Total number of smaller cubes = 9×6
    = 54
    Therefore, the total number of cubes of 1 cubic cm which have one face painted = 54.
    Hence, the correct option is 3.
