    Total cost of solid cubical box of fine wood = Rs.256 One-meter cube cost= Rs.500
    Now,
    Volume of block ×  one-meter cube cost= 256
    Volume ×500=256
    Volume =256500
    Volume=0.512 m3
    Now suppose length of cube =a
    As it is known that,
    Volume of Cube =a3 0.512m3=a3
    a=0.5123
    a=0.8 m
    So, the volume of cube is 0.512 m3 and length of side is 0.8 m.
