Mitochondria
Mitochondria are organelles in the cell that are responsible for producing energy. They do this by breaking down glucose and other molecules to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the energy currency of the cell. What is a Mitochondrion?
Mitochondria are organelles in the cells of plants and animals. They are responsible for producing energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
Structure of Mitochondria
