    DUET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

    The eligibility criteria for DUET 2024 Exam for both Undergraduate (UG) course and Postgraduate (PG) course is given below respectively. These criteria will help to aim and ensure a fair and transparent admission process for different PG programs at Delhi University.

    The eligibility criteria for the candidates of UG Courses:

    • Students need to participate in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 Exam to seek admission to undergraduate programs at Delhi University.
    • The candidate should have completed his/her class 12th from a recognised board or any equivalent examination from a recognised board as per the common eligibility criteria.
    • The Candidates should also be obligated to fulfil the program-specific prerequisites specified for DUET 2024 Exam therefore for a smooth completion of exam process.
    • Certainly a candidate should appear for at least one language examination as outlined in the CUET syllabus as per the IA section of CUET 2024 structure.

Com courses should have an aggregate percentage in their Undergraduate course, therefore for the general category candidates should maintain at least 50% aggregate marks, similarly the OBC candidates need to have 45% aggregate marks, and the SC or ST candidates must obtain 40% marks in their commerce graduation.

    Step 1: Registration Process

    • Firstly visit the official website of DUET at @www.du.ac.in to begin with the registration process.
    • Therefore go to the registration tab and provide details as shown on the screen like your name, category, gender, date of birth etc.
    • Enter a valid email ID and create a password, do not forget the password.
    • Further click on the “Register” button to proceed further.

    Step 2: Application Form Filling Process

    • Candidates should log in to the admission portal using their registered email ID, password, and verification code.
    • Choose the appropriate link as per their PG course: “PG Admission Portal 2024” for PG courses or “M. Phil/PhD Admission Portal 2024” for M. Phil or PhD programs.
    • Therefore complete the application form by providing personal and academic details as asked.
    • Click on “Submit” to proceed to the next step in the registration process.

    Step 3: Documents Uploading Process

    • Now upload the scanned coloured passport-size photograph (not exceeding 50KB in size) and a scanned signature in .jpg or .jpeg format to complete the form filling.

    • Rs 300 for SC, ST, or PWD candidates.
    • For the General Category candidates the application fee is Rs 2000.
    • For the SC/ST/PwBD candidates and the PGDCSL (Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Security and Law) is Rs1500 .
    • Rs 500 for UR or OBC category candidates and Rs 250 for others for the MPhil or PhD programs candidates.
    • Payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI for all programs.
