History of BCCI

BCCI Full Form: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is India’s national governing body for cricket. Reforms: 2017 Committee of Administrators

• The Committee of Administrators (COA) was constituted by the Supreme Court of India on January 30, 2017, to oversee the administration of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
• The COA is chaired by Vinod Rai and has three other members: Diana Edulji, Ramachandra Guha, and Vikram Limaye.
• The COA’s primary task is to implement the recommendations of the Lodha Committee, a panel appointed by the Supreme Court in January 2016, to suggest reforms for the BCCI.
