Category wise JK NEET Merit List 2023

The Board announced the schedule for online registration and document verification via Notification No. 041-BOPEE of 2023, dated 15.07.2023. Eligible candidates needed to register on the BOPEE website (www.jkbopee.gov.in) and upload documents from 19.07.2023 to 23.07.2023.

After reviewing the registration forms and documents, the Board made these observations:

• Provisional Approval for Deficient Documents: Some candidates had missing documents like Domicile Certificate, Date of Birth, 12th Class Marks Card, and Compulsory Service Bond for Ladakh candidates. They can participate in Online Counseling but must submit all missing documents during admission. Otherwise, their selection will be canceled.
• Gender Correction: Candidates in Annexure-A must confirm their gender by July 29 at the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar.
• Sports Category: A ranking list (Annexure-B) is made for candidates under the Sports Category, but it doesn’t guarantee a seat.
• CDP Category Certificate Correction: Candidates with outdated CDP Certificates must submit a new one by July 29.
• Deficient Reserved Category Certificates: Candidates with deficient Reserved Category Certificates must submit valid ones by July 29 or be considered under Open merit.
• EWS Category Certificate Correction: Candidates must submit valid EWS Category Certificates by July 29 to avoid being considered under the Open category.
• PwD Certificate Verification: Candidates with uploaded PwD Certificates will be provisionally included but must ensure genuineness during admission.

The Provisional UT Merit List (PML) is Annexure-A, and the sports category list is Annexure-B.

Candidates can make representations regarding their PML position until July 29.

Some candidates were rejected due to their NEET-UG 2023 scores falling below the cut-off set by NTA.

JK NEET UG 2023 Merit List Tie Breaking Criteria

In case of NEET candidates scoring the same marks, the authority will use this tie-breaking method for the Jammu And Kashmir NEET Merit List 2023:

1. Priority goes to the candidate with higher marks in biology for J&K MBBS admission 2023.
2. If the tie continues, the candidate with higher marks in chemistry will be considered.
