    NEET Question Paper 2019: Analysis

    • In 2019, NEET was conducted on 5th May.
    • This year NEET was easier as compared to the previous year.
    • There were four sections in the paper- Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
    • Questions of physics were divided equally between classes 11 and 12. Most questions were on the topics of Modern Physics and Mechanics(approximately 50% of the physics section), Electrostatics, Electronics, Ray, and Wave Optics.
    • Easy physics questions were from the topic- magnetic effect of electric current and current electricity chapters.
    • In chemistry, a few questions were outside of NCERT. These were reverse hyperconjugation and molecular orbital configurations of hetero-atomic molecules. Mostly the questions were concept-based. There were no memory-based questions.
    • The biology section consists of questions from Biotechnology and Ecology.
    • In chemistry, there were 19 questions from physical chemistry, 12 questions from organic chemistry, and 14 questions from inorganic chemistry.
    • The biology section was of moderate difficulty level. There were only four difficult questions. Forty questions were from zoology and fifty questions were from botany.
    • Out of the total marks, 452 marks were of easy level, 200 marks were moderate and 60 marks were on the difficult side.
