The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), established in 1921, is the main authority for conducting high school (Class 10) and higher secondary (Class 12) exams in Uttar Pradesh. Headquartered in Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), it is the largest education board in Asia, handling exams and results for millions of students annually. The UP Board Class 12 exams are conducted every year in March and April. For re-evaluating one subject, candidates now pay INR 500, compared to the earlier fee of INR 100.
