Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To be part of the Arunachal Pradesh MBBS counselling 2023, you need to meet specific requirements:

1. You must be an Indian citizen.
2. You should have cleared the NEET 2023 exam.
3. Your Class 12 education must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as your primary subjects.
4. You must be a resident of Arunachal Pradesh.

There are two main categories for eligibility:

Category-I: Individuals with a PRC and ST Certificate from Arunachal Pradesh.

Category-II: This category is further divided into two sub-categories:

Step 1: Registration

You’ll also need to upload various documents, such as Category Certificate, Class X certificate, Class XII marksheet, NEET 2023 Rank Card, Photograph, and PWD certificate.

Step 2: State Merit List

The APDHTE will create a state merit list based on the applications received and the applicants’ merits. This merit list will help you decide on your preferred courses and colleges.

Step 3: Choosing Courses and Colleges

Once your documents are verified, eligible candidates can select their preferred courses and colleges and lock in their choices. You can change, rearrange, or remove your choices before locking them. Keep in mind that once locked, your choices cannot be altered.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

Based on your choices and your merit position in the State Merit List, the APDHTE will publish a seat allotment list for the first round on their official website. You’ll need to indicate whether you accept or withdraw the allocated seats.

You can choose between ‘Floating’ or ‘Freezing’ options in the ‘submit willingness tab.’ Floating is for those who want to participate in other rounds and don’t accept the seat initially.

Step 5: Collecting Nomination Letter

If you receive a seat allocation and want to secure it, you’ll need to collect your nomination from the Directorate of Medical Education Training and Research office in Naharlagun. If you don’t collect your nomination, your seat will be carried forward to the next round. Remember to bring the required documents, both original and self-attested copies.

Note: If there are still vacant seats after the second round, a spot round counseling for Arunachal Pradesh NEET 2023 will be conducted.
