    Candidates whose names appear on the state merit list will be invited to participate in the MP NEET 2023 counseling process. During registration, candidates must fill in their choices for medical colleges and upgrade their seats as needed. Candidates are advised to fill in their choices based on their preferences. MP MBBS admissions will be granted based on merit rank, preference filled, reservation criteria, and seat availability.

    The authority previously released a revised MP NEET 2023 mop-up round schedule. Eligible candidates could register for the MP state NEET counseling 2023 mop-up round till September 7.

    MP NEET 2023 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible for MP NEET 2023 counseling, candidates must qualify for NEET 2023, be domiciled in Madhya Pradesh, and fulfill other requirements, such as minimum age and educational qualifications. To be eligible for MP MBBS, candidates must score the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET 2023.

    To participate in MP NEET 2023 counseling, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria set by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME):

    • Age: Applicants must be at least 17 on December 31, 2023. There is no upper age limit.
    • Qualification: Applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English as core subjects.
    • Domicile: Applicants must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Those who have completed their formal education in the state but are not domiciled in MP may also apply.

    MP NEET UG 2023 Counselling: Step-by-Step Procedure

    The counseling authority will conduct four rounds of online counseling: first round, second round, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round. Candidates will be invited to participate in the counseling process based on their NEET scores, registration details, and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.

    Step 1: Registration

    To participate in MP NEET UG 2023 counseling, candidates must first register. MBBS aspirants can register by filling out the application form and providing their personal, academic, and communication information, as well as their NEET roll number and security key. Candidates must also upload relevant documents and pay the application fee using a debit/credit card, e-wallet, net banking, or IMPS.

    Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking

    • Once registration is complete, candidates must log in to the DME MP online NEET counseling portal using their NEET roll number and password to fill in and lock in their choices of college and course.
    • The top of the page will provide guidelines for filling in and locking choices for MP MBBS 2023 counseling. Candidates should refer to these guidelines if they have any questions.
    • On the next page, candidates can select as many courses or colleges as they like for MP MBBS admission 2023. Their choices will appear below the preferences box.
    • Candidates can also change the order of their preferences by moving the cursor up and down.
    • Once candidates are satisfied with their choices, they should click the button to review their preferences.

    During the MP MBBS 2023 counseling process, candidates will be assigned seats based on their choices and other factors. Candidates can view their choices, and a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to their registered mobile numbers. Candidates must then lock their choices in the following way:

    • Select the’ choice locking’ option on the Madhya Pradesh NEET UG counseling page.
    • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
    • Click the ‘proceed to lock choices’ button.

    Candidates who do not fill out their choices or do not lock them will not be considered for MP MBBS counseling 2023.

    Note that candidates cannot change their choices after they have been locked. All changes must be submitted before the choices are locked.

    Step 3: MP NEET Counselling Process

    After completing the choice filling and locking process, the authorities will conduct the MP NEET counseling process online. Each round of counseling will be led in accordance with the released schedule. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their choices, availability, and other factors. The results of the counseling process will be displayed in PDF format.

    Step 4: MP NEET Seat Allotment Result

    The MP MBBS 2023 seat allotment process results will be published online in PDF format after completion. Seat allocations will be published separately for each round. After release, the MP NEET UG counseling 2023 allotment list will be updated below. In the meantime, candidates can refer to the previous year’s MP MBBS/BDS seat allotment list.

    Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted College

    The MP NEET 2023 counseling process ends with candidates reporting to their allotted colleges. Candidates must download the MP MBBS counseling seat allotment letter and bring the following documents when they register:

    • Candidate class certificate (PH/FF/SN)
    • NEET result 2023/NEET scorecard
    • Income certificate
    • NEET 2023 admit card
    • Affidavit of not being the domicile of any state other than MP
    • Class 10 mark sheet
    • Domicile certificate
    • Class 12 mark sheet
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
